Style of Wedding Photography
 

What I try to do is capture the essence and feeling of your day with unflinching attention to facts and the poetry they embody. Think of me as a poet with a camera. So many couples feel they have missed their own weddings because they are so swept up in the event itself. For that day, I will be your eyes.
 

As your photographer, I will try to be inconspicuous and not intrude on the scene. My goal is to capture the spirit of your wedding. Photographs will be spontaneous and life-like, capturing the story as it unfolds with as little interference as possible. To that end, I may use a second photographer if necessary. It's really all about your wedding.

I most times have a second photographer to get your formals and traditionals. Your wedding portraits, however, will deviate somewhat from this approach. I will gently direct the setting, placement, and general mood to create artistic and endearing images. Darkroom techniques will be an important part of creating such images. Together, we will decide what techniques and which images best fulfill your vision and create the poetry of your wedding.

Services Provided

Most all images are black and white, but you can have color, too. The proofs/contact sheets as well as a CD of all digital images in 72dpi are provided to you as part of my service. Shooting has no limit with regard to number of images. (Whatever is needed.)

Pricing

I try to work within your budget, but everyone's ideas are different, so pricing is not fixed. I do not offer "cookie cutter" packages, but together we will tell the unique story of your wedding through images.
