Style of Photography

I feel that the best portraits--especially of children-- are those taken in natural settings--outdoors where nature is the backdrop. What could be simpler or more beautiful? The results will be treasured for generations. My photographs are printed and brown-toned by hand on archival-quality,   fiber-based paper, which can last for hundreds of years if properly framed. In the Portraits  Portfolio are examples of handcolored photographs. Colors are applied with professional oils and will maintain their brilliance for many decades. They add a special sense of warmth, nostalgia, and beauty unrivaled by traditional color photography.

Session Fee

The session fee (which includes film, processing, proofs or contact sheets, and remains the property of the photographer) will be $275 on weekdays and $350 on Saturday.

Payment

The session fee is due when booked. A deposit of one half of the order is due when the order is placed with the balance on completion. Minimum order, not including the session fee, is $500.
